I notice recent mentions of the manager being rude. I can attest to that but mostly had good experiences with him. He waited tables himself on some days.
He has been replaced, and maybe it is for the best.
I would like to see someone clean the men's urinal of all the built-up crud and I would like to see a listing of their surprise, no mention on the menu, 49 cent credit card fee.
This place is a favorite of mine, food is good, staff is very nice, and despite one comment by others, the coffee is very good.
They do need to purge their water filtration system first thing in the morning because the water served to the tables has a chemical taste. It clears up when they serve out a few gallons and people most likely don't drink it.
Nice spot. Beware, it closes early at 2:00 pm and once I could not get in until several minutes after their posted 7:00 am opening.
I don't think you will be disappointed. I hope the new manager keeps the place running nicely. -

We stayed next door at the Lodge and came here for breakfast. What a hopping place.
Staff was warm, quick and attentive. Had the fisherman omelet, which was very light in seafood.
Appears to be a regular spot for locals and visitors. -

Expertly crafted food served perfectly. Dishes range from Mexican to old American classics. Lots of beverages to choose from. Attentive service, very clean interior. Run don't walk to this great eatery by the bay. Its across from Lake Estero Park, great views in every direction. The best Hollandaise Sauce I've tasted thus far, not thick or overly rich, just perfecto!

This place was ok. We stayed at a hotel nearby and wanted someplace close by for brunch before heading out on the road again. Came on a Monday around 11am and the restaurant was pretty empty. We ordered the crab and shrimp skillet plate and the crab cake benedict. Skillet was decent and came with a lot of avocado on top. The crab cake benedict wasn't as good. The egg was nearly cooked through--yolk was maybe 30 sec shy of being fully cooked. Service here was on the slow side even though there weren't that many people at all. For the price of the food I should've just gone a little further for something better.

The chairs are very colorful. Food takes a while to get cooked as well as you will likely wait for your order to be taken. They have kids cups, kids menu and coloring which is good for them.
